The officials reached an agreement on the exchange of experiences in the development of rural tourism, since Slovenia has achieved great results in this segment of the tourist offer, and Serbia is on the way to profile rural tourism as a competitive tourist product.
Also, at the meeting, the need for cooperation between the two countries in solving the problem of the gray economy in the hospitality industry in the part of renting private accommodation was highlighted, especially since Slovenia is in the process of drafting a new legislative framework to regulate this issue.
