As of today, the Serbian tennis player is again the first on the ATP list, and in the head-to-head score he leads against Medvedev 10:5.
Djokovic won the first set 6:3 after 48 minutes of play, while the second set lasted 104 minutes and he won it in a tie-break 7:6 (5).
The third set lasted the shortest, and Djokovic won it with a score of 6:3 and thus wrote new pages in the history of tennis.
This was a record, Djokovic's 10th final at the US Open - until this match, he had won this tournament three times and lost six times.
