Minister of Foreign Affairs Nikola Selakovic, spoke, on the sidelines of the 77th session of the UN General Assembly, with foreign ministers of countries from all parts of the world, during which specific initiatives for improvement were launched bilateral cooperation.

Series of Serbia's intensive diplomatic activity in New York

Selakovic met with more than 20 heads of diplomacy and had a very thorough conversation with the special representative for the "Alliance of Civilisations" Miguel Angel Moratinos.
During his stay in New York, several agreements were signed – on cooperation in agriculture with Cape Verde, on legal assistance in civil matters and air traffic with Brazil, and on the abolition of visas for holders of diplomatic and official passports with Tajikistan.
The inevitable topic in all the talks was the situation in Kosovo and Metohija, and the interlocutors listened with great attention to the minister's arguments regarding the international legal foundations on which Serbia bases the defence of its territorial integrity and sovereignty.
Selakovic also met with Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Samoa Afioga Fiame Naomi, who expressed interest in establishing diplomatic cooperation with our country.
