Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure Tomislav Momirovic stated today in Brdo kod Kranja that our country is committed to strengthening transport and traffic capacities to European Union countries and regional connection.
He held meetings with Minister of Communications and Transport of Bosnia and Herzegovina Vojin Mitrovic, Minister of the Sea, Transport and Infrastructure of Croatia Oleg Butkovic, and Macedonian Minister of Transport and Communications Blagoje Bocvarski.
We are fully committed to improving the cooperation of the entire region. The projects we have initiated, such as the construction of the Belgrade-Sarajevo highway, the Trebinje airport, and the reconstruction of interstate road bridges, will contribute to a better connection between the citizens of Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina, Momirovic said.
According to him, it was agreed with the Croatian minister to sign an agreement at the end of September this year on maintaining three road bridges on the common state border, and this is another step towards stronger traffic, but also economic connection between the two countries.
We talked with the Macedonians about the reconstruction of the railway to Skopje, and I used the opportunity to express my gratitude to them for abolishing tolls for the citizens of Serbia, said Momirovic.
