Obradovic pointed out that in the previous period significant cooperation has been achieved in resolving the issue of so-called legally invisible persons and enabling the exercise of their right to registration in the birth register.
This has been recognised as an example of good practice in the countries of the region, she underlined and added that there is room for further improvement and strengthening of cooperation.
According to her, the Ministry is committed to providing assistance to members of the Roma community and other marginalised categories of the population in the process of applying for vaccination against COVID-19, but that it is necessary to intensify cooperation with Roma coordinators and mediators on the ground.
