Minister for European Integration and national IPA coordinator and coordinator of donor and development assistance Jadranka Joksimovic sent an official notification to the competent ministries and institutions, thus starting the process of drafting the IPA programme for 2021 and 2022.

These programmes will be funded by the new EU support instrument for the period 2021-2027 – Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance III (IPA III).
She stressed that according to the EC proposal, the European Union should provide a grant of €14.5 billion from this instrument to the Western Balkans and Turkey by 2027, which will be used to finance projects that contribute to the implementation of political, economic and institutional reforms and progress in the process of European integration.
