Vucic said at a press conference held after
talks with ambassadors of EU countries that our country will have one of the highest growth rates in the region, despite the fiscal consolidation.
He also announced significant progress of Serbia towards the top on the "Doing Business list” of the World Bank, which will be published in the next days, stating that we will thus be able to attract an even greater number of investors.
I have a dream and a plan and I know what we need to do, but the support from international financial institutions in defining the way in which it should be carried out is valuable and necessary, the Prime Minister said.
According to Vucic, the meeting with representatives of the EU and the World Bank was focused on the strategic objectives of Serbia, which will in the next three years have a GDP growth of more than 12%, which would mean an increase in income and a better standard.
This requires peace and stability, progress in the EU, difficult things that we have in the dialogue with Pristina, many of the reforms that we have done in the economic sense, he said.
