Efficiency will be increased, costs will be reduced and new value will be created in almost all areas of life and work. The digitisation process is the most important catalyst of innovations, competitiveness and growth.
The information and communication technology sector is one of the largest sectors in Serbia, and one of the largest net exporters. According to the data of the National Bank of Serbia, in the first 11 months of 2018, exports of ITC services exceeded the value of export of EUR 1 billion, with an increase of 27.5% compared to 2017. The surplus of export of ICT services constitutes the majority of the surplus of service export, while the sector itself has recorded a constant export growth of over 20% over the last decade. The average salary per employee in the ICT sector is more than twice as high as in other branches of industry, while one job position in the ICT sector creates 4-5 job positions in other sectors.
