Today we can say with certainty that it was a turning point in history, an introduction to what the world is facing today, that the aggression represented the end of justice and morality and that it was profoundly unjust, stressed Vucevic.
Minister of the Interior Bratislav Gasic said that the bombing of our country by NATO was a warning to humankind and that at that moment force was demonstrated against the Serbian people, the consequences of which are still felt today.
Gasic pointed out that during the 78 days of the bloody feast of the so-called merciful angels, who covered our country with bombs instead of angelic mercy, 2,500 civilians and more than 750 members of the police and army died.
Minister of Labour, Employment, Veteran and Social Affairs Nikola Selakovic said that today, 25 years later, it is completely clear that the most powerful military mechanism in the world bombed our country with the aim of taking Kosovo and Metohija away from us.
The Minister said that by violating international law, terrorism motivated by separatist goals received the support of a more powerful part of the world, adding that the events in the territory of the southern province testify to this.
