At a session held on 25 January 2024, the Serbian government adopted three conclusions related to the support of the state for persons suffering from rare diseases and their families, in order to improve their financial situation by providing financial assistance.
These are the Conclusion on one-time financial assistance to families with children and other family members who suffer from rare diseases, which provides for RSD 25,000 per family, the Conclusion on the award of vouchers to persons suffering from rare diseases for the purchase of medicines and medical devices in the amount of RSD 35,000, and the Conclusion on the award of vouchers to persons suffering from rare diseases for rehabilitation and recreation in health institutions specialised in rehabilitation in the amount of RSD 50,000.
