First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic today received a delegation of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Parliament of Finland, headed by the Chairman of that body, Kimmo Kiljunen.
In the meeting, mutual readiness for further improvement of bilateral cooperation was expressed, especially bearing in mind that this year marks the 95th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Serbia and Finland, which represents a good basis for strengthening overall cooperation in the coming period.
The officials agreed on the need to improve the political dialogue in the coming period and expressed interest in exchanging visits at all levels and further connecting the two countries through the improvement of cooperation in a large number of areas.
Dacic particularly pointed out the negative aspects of the so-called Kosovo's request for membership in the Council of Europe.
