In a statement to Tanjug news agency, Dacic said that if there are no legal technical problems, Perisic will arrive in Belgrade today by an airplane of the Serbian government.
He underlined that the decision of the ICTY is very important for Serbia and the Serbian people because it denies the charges of the alleged aggression of the Yugoslav Army in Bosnia-Herzegovina and Croatia.
The ICTY Appeals Chamber annulled the verdict by which former Chief of the General Staff of the Yugoslav Army General Momcilo Perisic was found guilty of assisting and supporting crimes that were committed in Bosnia-Herzegovina and Croatia from August 1993 to November 1995 and ordered his immediate release from prison.
