The deadline to apply for voting in the June 13 presidential election at the Serbia-Montenegrin diplomatic missions could be extended until Monday, May 31, Serbian Deputy Minister of Diaspora Vukman Krivokuca told the Tanjug news agency today.
Krivokuca said the original deadline for Serbia-Montenegrin citizens living abroad to apply for voting has expired today, adding that a possible extension of the deadline will give another opportunity to complete the voter lists.
He explained that at least 100 voters must apply at one polling place for it to be opened added that this is one of the reasons why representatives of the ministry will visit the centres of Serbian Diaspora and get acquainted with their problems and suggestions.
