Vucic and Siemoniak signed after the bilateral meeting an agreement on cooperation in the field of defence between the governments of Serbia and Poland which will allow for further development of cooperation in various fields.
Vucic underlined that the signing of this document opens up opportunities for military-to-military, military-economic, military and medical, as well as cooperation in the defence industry, as well as joint participation in international peacekeeping operations.
The First Deputy Prime Minister pointed out that the relations between the two countries have traditionally been good, and expressed gratitude for the support Poland provides to Serbia in the European integration process.
He said that getting a date for starting accession negotiations with the EU is a result the Serbian government deserved.
Vucic said that Serbia is committed to the strengthening of economic cooperation, the volume of trade and attracting Polish investors.
Siemoniak highlighted that Poland provides unequivocal support for the continuation of Serbia's European integration, and invited the First Deputy Prime Minister to visit his country.
