Serbian Minister of Foreign Affairs Vuk Jeremic today talked in Helsinki with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov about bilateral relations, the strategic energy partnership and the Kosovo issue.
Yesterday at the
16th OSCE Ministerial Council Meeting in Helsinki Jeremic and Lavrov expressed their satisfaction with the excellent relations between Russia and Serbia and the progress made in establishing a strategic partnership between the two countries in the energy sector.
The Ministers also discussed the situation in Kosovo in light of the recent
Security Council session, at which UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon’s report containing recommendations for the reconfiguration of UNMIK and the deployment of EULEX, in agreement with Belgrade, was approved.
Yesterday, Jeremic addressed the OSCE ministerial council and held several meetings with OSCE foreign ministers as well as with Secretary General Marc Perrin de Brichambaut.
