welcomed Putin to Serbia, and expressed satisfaction over the fact that the President of Russia with his presence will lend solemnity to the marking of the 70th anniversary of liberation of Belgrade and the victory over fascism in the Second World War, and the 100th anniversary of the beginning of the First World War.
The Prime Minister said that Putin will attend “March of the Victorious”, which will be held in honour of the 70th anniversary of the liberation of Belgrade from fascism, and which is expected to be viewed by more than 100,000 people.
He pointed out that trade between Serbia and Russia has reached $2.6 billion, noting that Serbia is the only European country that can export pork to the Russian Federation.
Vucic said that the export will increase over time, for what our country has the capacity, and asked Putin to allow imports to Russia of Fiat vehicles made in Kragujevac.
Putin pointed out that there is a possibility of reaching an agreement on export quotas of this brand of vehicles to the Russian Federation, and said that the trade and economic ties between the two countries are developing very successfully.
The Russian statistics, as he stated, is showing a growth of trade of 17% in the first half of the year.
