First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic said today that Serbia needs to intensify its foreign policy activities and the reform process in order to open some of the negotiating chapters with the EU.
In a meeting with Minister without portfolio responsible for European integration Jadranka Joksimovic and head of the Serbian negotiating team for the negotiations on the accession to the EU Tanja Miscevic, Dacic pointed out that full membership in the EU is the main foreign policy goal for Serbia.
The officials analysed the current course of the negotiations on Serbia's membership in the EU and identified the tasks for the next period, and the manner of coordination of all state bodies in the field of European integration, according to a statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
