First Deputy Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic said today that the infamous attack on the EULEX is actually directed against Serbia and the Serbian people, and added that the state's response will be tough.
Vucic said at a press conference in the Serbian government that this was an attempt to break down everything that Serbia has accomplished in the past.
Serbia has no right to remain silent and let the terrorists and extremists to think they are the ones who can rule Serbia, Vucic said.
He said he is authorised by President of Serbia Tomislav Nikolic, who is on an official visit to Bulgaria, to condemn the criminal act of murder of a Lithuanian member of EULEX.
The attack was directed against the Serbian people and Serbia. Serbia will help in the investigation as much as it can, and those who think that such crimes can pass unpunished need to know that they will never have a shelter in the territory of Serbia, the First Deputy Prime Minister stressed.
