Pristina still does not want compromise solution to dinar problem in Kosovo and Metohija

Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija Petar Petkovic stated today in Brussels, after the fifth round of talks within the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue, that our delegation did absolutely everything in order to find a solution regarding the unilateral and violent decision of Pristina to cancel the dinar and payment transactions of Serbia in Kosovo and Metohija, but that the other side does not want to find a solution.

Addressing the journalists, Petković said that our proposal was evaluated as constructive even today, while the Prishtina delegation came without the political will to solve this problem, which led to the absence of an agreement.

Our proposal was evaluated by Brussels, that is, by European Union's special representative for the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina Miroslav Lajcak and his team, as a very good basis for continuing the talks, which showed once again that we are a party that cares about finding a solution, Petkovic said.

On the other hand, as he said, the representatives of Pristina did not make any comments on the proposal, that is, the ideas of the European Union, which clearly shows that they do not want to agree on anything and to find a solution when it comes to the dinar and the payment system of the Republic of Serbia in the territory of Kosovo and Metohija.

The Director of the Office announced a new round of talks in Brussels for next week, and said that Belgrade will show constructiveness during those talks as well.
